Supercell

Just saying...THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH LIKING THE MAYOI SNAIL ARC for its cuteness. Thought I'd get that off my chest.

Since Supercell is an actual band and not just some random trailer music organization, they tend to have very good, very sensible, and pretty original songs. Great buildup and they manage to keep the momentum going until the end.

The only part that I sort of think falls on its face is 2:55~3:01, where they decided they'd give something new a go, ran out of ideas, and just deselected everything on Steinberg Cubase except for the vocals and drums and ran with that. Other than that the song is fine. Everybody's favorite part (featured so prominently on the TV-Size ED) is from 1:42~2:08.

The great thing about this particular song is that it doesn't try to be excessive loud, flashy, or just plain weird. It just keeps a steady beat, has a good melody, and almost 'inevitably' builds to its all-out conclusion. It doesn't have any gimmicks - just a good theme.
